Meet Author Monique Snyder

Monique Snyder brings a remarkable background in criminal justice, crime scene investigation, death investigations, education, and medical support work to her children’s storytelling.

The inspiration for JR Texas Ranger LD Snyder began while Monique was working at Pleasanton Primary School, where she saw firsthand how stories help children learn, imagine, and understand the world around them. Years later, watching her son Jaxon dressed like a young Texas Ranger for his five-year-old portraits brought the idea vividly back to life.

Inspired by family, meaningful memories, and a child’s natural curiosity, Monique created an adventure-filled story designed to encourage young readers to be brave, stay curious, and try new things.

Because sometimes the greatest adventures begin with a little imagination and a curious mind.
